I don't think that anyone expects gas prices to drop on a dime. Drilling is a good idea because we WILL need the oil one way or another. Not drilling is lame and it's time has clearly passed.
Either that or Al Gore and Obama can stop driving SUV's.
It's one or the other.
What I just said pretty much sums up the attitude that the American voters have. Dems, take note...
