Yeah: I had been thinking along the same lines myself: she's watched some astonishing reversals in her day, engineered by the master politician of the last century. It would have been extraordinary if she hadn't learned a thing or two.

Superdelegate city, indeed. At any rate, it's quite an achievement—whether she gets the brass ring or not.
