Well, That Wasn't So Bad.

Among the actual GOP/semi-GOP candidates, Romney came in first, followed by Thompson, and then McCain. I can totally live with that.

So once people see that the evangelical doesn't have any clothes, the situation should fall right into place.

I do want to be clear, though: any ticket that includes the Huckster on any portion of the ballot will not get my vote, and will probably get voted against. So no sneaking Huckabee in as a VP possibility, okay? A heartbeat away from the White House is too freakin' close.

1 Romney and Thompson are the only two I would ever consider voting for.

2 I hope your fear/loathing of MH is based on his liberal past. We evangelicals don't bite or burn witches at the stake....no more...lol.

3 He's basically Bill Clinton, but carrying a Bible.

4 Evangelicals are THE base of the modern Republican party. Better learn to live with it

5 I have nothing against evangelicals; I have a few leanings that way myself. I just don't like seeing my fellow Christians get used by a guy who pardoned more criminals than the previous three governors of AK, combined--particularly when some of these people then went on to kill others. Huckabee has blood on his hand.

6 Did it ever occur to the elitist bloggers out there that a vote for Huckabee is really a vote against Mitt Romney? Romney got what he deserved just like Hillary. The two of them have been in my state (Iowa) for the last 18 months with this attitude that since they have the most money, they deserve to be the nominee...that is B.S! Romney had too much baggage and like John Kerry, is a true flip flopper.

8 Doesn't the Twenty-eight Amendment(1999) ban any future Presidents from Arkansas? Specifically those that were Governors?
