Okay. A Little Sleep,

and then I'm off to the suburbs of Seattle to see the many Irish in-laws. (There are a lot of them, and they circulate.)

I'll check in from the Great Northwest at some point soon. I haven't been there in nearly 11 years. Not since my honeymoon.

Don't do anything silly while I'm in the air, okay?

1 Welcome back, we actually have some sun right now, although the mercury is below freezing at night. So bring a sweater.

2 It's beautiful today! But cold—especially up by Mt. Ranier.

3 Fred, Fred, Fred. . . "Today I have withdrawn my candidacy for President of the United States. I hope that my country and my party have benefited from our having made this effort. Jeri and I will always be grateful for the encouragement and friendship of so many wonderful people." People were just starting to wake up!

4 Darrell, too little too late for both the electorate and the candidate.

5 If you believe he was late, you've been listening to the MSM too much. Real people (meaning me) don't want a two-year election campaign. Matching funds should be denied to any candidate that starts prior to exactly twelve months prior to election day. If we could make a choice when candidates were chosen at National Conventions, we can do it now in a year.

6 MSNBC Headline: "Wall Street Lower For A Second Day." (5:17 PM EST) The reality? • DJIA 12270.17 +298.98 +2.50% You guys wouldn't be trying to "talk down" the US economy, would you?

7 Hey. Sean did his part. Not sure Fred did his, though . . . I wish he'd stayed on just a bit longer. Aw, nuts.

8 Thanks, Sean!

9 From what I understand, Louisiana was prepared to give Fred a big win yesterday, but then he pulled out hours before the caucuses. Now the delegates are "uncommitted".
