The Nader-Buchanan Connection
Via
Kathy Kinsley comes this
FrontPageMag piece about the unholy alliance between paleoconservatives and some elements of the antiwar left. (There's a faintly antisemitic smell to their joint projects, as you might imagine.)
Left or right, this is something you need to know about.
UPDATE: The phrase "some elements of" added above to make it clear that I don't think every opponent of the war is complicit in these shenanigans.

I am the antiwar left. Don't try to hook me up with Buchanan, he's a scumbag, and a right wing kook. Nader's involvment with him is one of the reasons he's not getting any support anywhere, even in Cali. "The antiwar left," sheesh! Is that a really broad brush in your pocket, or are you just going to paint some houses?
Also, does that make you the prowar right? Prowar, now there's a great position. Yeah, let's have more wars, the world will be so much better.

Okey-doke. I'll rephrase to make it more clear that I don't mean every leftist opponent of the war. But it's worth noting that I've
vigorously defended all my lefty friends on occasion (see the comments section in that post).
And I'll agree not to rhetorically link you to Buchanan, Nader, or Michael Moore if you'll agree not to link me to Buchanan, Bill O'Reilly, or Senator Santorum.
Speaking of links, the one I made here appears not to work, so here's the permalink for everyone's cut-and-paste pleasure:
