What Is It About the End of the Year?

I have a long list of things to do, and yet none of them really sing out to me.

1 Speaking of Ogden Nash, he was one of my mother's favorite poets. Mom used to read poetry to us. One of her favorites was Nash's "The Seven Spritual Ages of Mrs. Marmaduke Moore". (God knows which god is coming next!) Come to think of it, she also used to sing to us when we were young. Something about "sing to your children before they're old enough to become critics" comes to rememberence. But that's another story. -B
