I think this PC crap on involving the illegal immigration and border security debate has gone far enough.
So, let me give you some good news of great joy!
A new political party is being offered to the tens of millions of Americans who feel that both the Republican party and the Democrat party have NOT led them to achieve what they really want our government to do for them.
We want our borders secured and our immigration laws ENFORCED NOW! We want tax reform-and we want it ASAP! We want much more efficient, innovative and effective SMALLER government that gives us more bang for our hard-earned buck. We want Senate rules that currently do not allow an up or down vote for all executive appointment to the federal judiciary changed to allow a constitutional up or down vote. We want our second amendment right to keep and BEAR arms VIGILANTLY protected! We believe AmericaÂ’s best and brightest days are YET to come! We yearn for REAL change that PRODUCES real results that truly satisfies our good desires for our families, AmericaÂ’s future and our posterity. And, we want it all RIGHT NOW!
The new party is called the ‘New Republican Party’ and can be further studied at my website. This party is what we, and millions of others like us, have all been searching for…but it has never existed before…until NOW!

Tell Rudi if you see him at CPAC. I hear he's listening. Don't forget mentioning to head over to the Junkscience website, too. He may be surprised to find that not all scientists are making out their wills with that 1 degree temperature swing. We know our computer models are more for paying the rent. And giving us something to do while the Porn is downloading.

Wild and Crazy Conservatives! This should put a big dent in Washington's Nightlife Industry. At least they sell out of tin foil when those Kos Kidz are in town. . .
On a serious note, too bad you won't be in town on March 17th to counter that moonbat march on the pentagon. Hopefully they'll go to the pandagon instead. (Why don't you guys put up fake signs saying "This way to the Pandagon.")

On Mark Styen, Racism, and Iraq vs. Vietnam
Glenn Reynolds:
Back in the Vietnam days we heard a lot of accusations of genocide hurled at war supporters -- but it was when the war opponents got their wish that the mass murder began, and they were very quiet (or, in some cases, actually defensive of the Khmer Rouge) once it happened.
Read the whole thing.
How people can read America Alone, BTW, as advocating genocide is beyond me. There were moments when I felt Steyn overstated his case, but he isn't a racist: he's deeply concerned about the very real threat of Islamofascism, and how demographic trends will exacerbate that threat in coming years.
Of course, Steyn is defending himself ably, remarking that
I appreciate Andrew Sullivan’s need to make a living and I regret that, alas, there don’t seem to be as many takers for his “conservatism of doubt” as his publishers evidently thought. But if he really feels the need to embroil me in a piffling pseudo-scandal I’d appreciate it if next time he could just finger me as the father of Anna Nicole’s baby and leave it at that.

The chief danger of a rising Muslim majority in Europe will become apparent long before they actually become a majority.
One or more political parties will decide that the Muslim swing vote is worth getting, even at risk of sacrificing their own country's future.
Think about it: To curry favor with the Muslim vote, how many European political parties will allow their countries to become havens for terrorists?
Why do I get the feeling that this has already happened?

What's the Opposite of a Godbag?
A godless bag,
of course.
Actually, deep down I feel sorry for Amanda Marcotte—in the same way I felt sorry for Monica Lewinsky in the 1990s, and Washingtonienne two years ago or whenever: when I was young and did stupid things only a handful of people knew about them.
Now it seems that whenever a young woman behaves like an idiot, everyone knows about it. Forever.
And of course I relate to young Marcotte: the shrill feminism, the all-yang-no-yin personality. The hyper-emotionalism, and its corrosive effect on her writing.
I was like that. Still am, in a lot of ways. But to the degree that I've grown up at all, I'm glad I was able to do it out of the public spotlight.

Am I right?

The great thing is that the joke will be on Edwards soon enough, when the blogmistresses go ape on his blog in future, and the average American starts to wonder about what the guy stands for. The Nutroots doesn't have enough disciples to get Edwards elected. Fortunately.
Mentally insert plenty of F words in the above (short) paragraph.

And it's an uneasy fit--what with the multiple mansions and whatnot. Even if there were enough far-lefties out there--and they were organized enough to pull it off--turnout would suffer because the guy isn't at all what he's posing as.
Though, of course, that act has worked for Teddy K for a number of years--so it's possible I'm full of shit. Possible.

Ms Nowak is just misunderstood. Who doesn't carry pepper spray, a BB-gun, a new steel mallet, a knife and rubber tubing in their car? Bet she had motor oil, a tire iron and road flares, too. Sure, she used the pepper spray-- but we know how easily those things go off. And who's to say Ms Shipman didn't spray herself? Any good night-school lawyer hanging around the court house in Chicago could get her off with that flimsy 'evidence.' She should ask for a change of venue.
I am glad she used astronaut diapers for the 1000-mile trip. I hope some Democrat Senator starts working right now on a ban. We wouldn't want them to fall into just anyone's 'hands.'

How do they expect two ChemE's to throw down? People who date them know what to throw in their shopping carts. And what not to. They also pick up a Hapsite (a field-portable Gas Chromatograph/Mass Spectrometer) at their local Sam's Club. Just in case. And they pass up sales on that big bag of Castor Beans, however tempting.

Wow. I'm trying to figure out the storyline on that one. If I'm translating from Crazy into English correctly, my dad is a pimp out here in the quiet foothills near Jet Propulsion Labs (which gives the term "bedroom community" a new meaning).
And I'm single, but carrying on with a married man? And trying to break up his marriage? Fascinating. I'm sure my actual husband would be taken aback to learn all this about me.

(2) Do you own a car?
(3) Are you wearing "astronaut diapers?"
(4) Are you planning a trip to Flintridge today?
If the answer to any of the above is "Yes," please stay put, contact me, and help will arrive shortly. Thank you. . . In advance!

Good Going, Breck Boy.
What does Edwards do to show he's hip?—he
hires Marcotte to run his blog. This is the woman who was once able to perceive potential hidden sexism
in the shape of a laundry basket, and then explain that any criticism of feminism based upon such fixation upon details was . . . sexist.
I'd write more, but I'm going back to bed. I regard being up before noon as an artificial need, born of the patriarchal construct that it's good to be awake when the sun shines. If you think about it, circadianism is simply sexism writ large, and the discrimination against night owls mirrors that against women, midgets, and People of Color.

Deer lord. I have a laundry basket similar to that - same company, I think, and maybe the same model. And guess what, Mz. Marcotte, the curved section of that basket fits my waistline just effin' fine.
Does that mean I'm a victim of the patriarchy? I thought I *was* THE PATRIARCHY!
Oh, wait, lemme guess, you don't think guys can do their own laundry? damn sexist females, always keeping a brother down.

I knew the "Vie de la Joy" was good. Maybe you do have 28,000 sq ft at "Maison de Joie-La Canada"and don't know it? Any doors you haven't opened? Maybe those aren't neighbors, they're squatters? Or servants. Try giving them orders.
