2004 Weblog Awards
Vote early, vote often, over at
Wizbang!. Try not to vote for yourself (I've decided not to, but you most certainly are allowed to).
Of course, if I win the glory goes to Julie of Blogmoxie, because she'd definitely deserve it. (My nomination is in the "best design" category.) Still, I approved the new look of the blog, so there's that.
Going over there and voting for your favorite blogs is also a great way to get exposed to a lot of excellent writers you wouldn't otherwise be reading. Even if you don't actually vote, it's a lovely roundup of the best web writers out there.
And, you know—vote or die.

If you don't vote for yourself, there are two possible reasons:
1. You have a high level of integrity (which I what I give you credit for).
2. One vote a day for yourself won't affect anything, because the vote totals are so high.
In my case, I'm nominated for Best of the Blogs No One Reads, and our cumulative vote total after 48 hours is about 1400 for all 15 blogs. My one vote could make a big difference for me. (Between 8th and 9th place.)

Attila, there's still a week to go, and many people are probably working their way down the categories. I'm hoping that a lot of people are being methodical and checking out all the blogs before they vote—so the tallies may well change.

We thank you for your support.
It certainly is an opportunity to check out new blogs. I'm finding ones I've never read way up in the Ecosystem, and to be honest, some of my competitors at the bottom are pretty good, too.
