2 I don't know much about Althouse. But isn't she, in broad strokes, correct in her post? Beth's retort, while stylishly delivered, is that Althouse is apparently (1) a professor and (2) a lawyer. Being either shouldn't be reason for criticism, surely. And surely everyone, even law professors who blog, has a right to express their opinion... even on matters outside their field. Boy, don't I sound the humourless prat? Communicating inoffensive disagreement is hard enough. Trying to be funny as well is just beyond me.
