Sometimes I Want to Whine to My Husband That,
"there's nothing to read on the internet." But I suspect that would try even his patience.

It's just like "I have nothing to wear," or "there's nothing to eat in the house." Just childishness.

A woman, whine to her husband, never.
That would insult his honor, and make provoke a beating......
Darn, I haven't submitted to Islamic Law (never will). So the little lady will whine all day long...
Ah, bliss...all is normal in the world.

Joy,
If you want some interesting (albeit academic) fare, try searching for "OSINT" or "WBIL" on the web. If the Hub likes studying conflicts, I recommend "The Bear Went Over the Mountain", by Les Grau and Ali Jalili. It is a study of the Soviets in Afghanistan. It is available online from the Foreign Military Studies Office, Ft. Leavenworth, KS.
You could even find some stuff by yours truly, including "A Part, not Apart", covering the EZLN-ETA dialogue in southern Mexico and "Latin Gangs in the U.S." focusing on the MS-13 (with help from USBP Intelligence). (Also printed in Crime and Justice International).
All sorts of interesting things in the open source arena; you just have to look for them.
BTW; none of the above is classified.
Good luck and happy reading!

...all the things
you used to do...
they don't satisfy you,
they don't
tell you
anything
new...
