SOS: Smart Left-of-Center Bloggers

I know a few, but they are so difficult to find that I'm thinking of creating a separate blogroll for them. I'm not interested in snarky remarks about how the only correct positions are center-right: I'm interested in where you see the most provocative, even seductive arguments from your left-leaning friends or adversaries. What makes you think?

4 I see them in the news media(97%), entertainment)TV and movies, 99%), major metropolitan daily newpapers(100%), periodicals(99%), college lectures(97%), books(91%), and plays and live entertainment(99+%). Must I look left too when I just want to sneak away and have a cigarette and visit a few friendly blogs and like minds? Besides, they always try something sneaky like adding right wing blogs to the 'banned sites" list on Windows XP.

7 Gary Farber has a great blog. He also covers a wide range of topics, there's a lot of interesting non-political stuff, too.
