Cheap Shots R Us

I came across this charming uncredited work of art, and hope someone will point me to its rightful owner and creator.

Then I'll go to bed.

1 Typical propaganda from the Stupid Right - yawn. One could *easily* replace Moore with Bush or Cheney in that picture and it would be more truthful. How about: http://www.doonesbury.com/strip/dailydose/index.html?uc_full_date=20040711 Now that's funny!!!

2 Hm. I haven't seen anything produced by Bush or Cheney that's distributed by Hezbollah. And I have yet to hear the talkative Mr. Moore express any regret that a terrorist organization is associated with his film.

3 If that was the one in which Bush tries to find out what swear word starts with "J," it was pretty cute. But the "J word" is "Jews," and it isn't right-of-center libertarians who are slinging it.

4 For pete's sake! You're commenting about a cartoon without seeing it?!? Go to the link and then make an appropriate comment!

5 Your comment isn't about the correct cartoon. Try checking out the link first. (But then this from folks who whine and complain about Moore without seeing the film...Bushies were never much for working with facts)

6 Hey, hey. Settle down. It isn't a link; I had to copy and paste. I landed on the Doonesbury main page, and just went to "Daily Dose," thinking that was what you had in mind. Apparently, I only copied the first line of the URL. As for the charge that "on, no, now Muslim extremists hate us!" I would point you to: 1) The nineties, during which we suffered a string of attacks including the first World Trade Center bombing, the Khobar towers attacks, the bombing of our embassies in Africa, an attempt at bombing LAX, a plan to blow up the Lincoln Tunnel in NYC, and the bombing of the U.S.S. Cole. 2) There was something else. Let's see. Oh, yeah: four airplanes used as bombs on September 11, 2001. Original targets: the World Trade Center towers, and (probably) the White House and the Capitol Building. But we daren't go on the offensive, because then they might get angry and do something bad. They might stop holding back.

7 Damn URLS that're too long... Ummm, where did the comment about "Muslim Extremists hating us" come from? Not my comments. And we are in agreement. We should be going after them. So tell me again why Bush veered the direction from bin Laden (a known terrorist and proven threat to the U.S.) to go after Hussein...

8 1) The theme of the cartoon was America-hating (from people other than terrorist collaborators like Michael Moore). 2) Because Hussein was also a known terrorist and a proven threat . . .? (Was linked to the 1993 WTC attack; attempted to have several Americans assassinated, including a former Head of State; accessory after the fact to the Achille Lauro hijacking that led to an American being murdered; known financier of terrorist groups.)
