"Closing Time"

In how many books, poems, songs, or albums has the phenomenon of closing time at a bar been used as a metaphor for the end of a relationship and—sometimes—the futility of it all?

1 The VERY best song ever written about closing time and the end of a relationship is "Angel Eyes", sung by Frank Sinatra.

2 Love Cohen's Closing Time (and the whole album, The Future). Frank's One For My Baby is a classic Closing tune. But you knew I'd have to pipe up on this topic, didn't you? RG

3 Yup. The Future is one fine album. I think I may have sent my copy off to one of my nephews in a weak moment; I'll have to replace it.
